The people I would like to vote for, unfortunately would never get a chance.
So I may have to follow the Passport to Pimlico idea and set up the Republic of Wippitts on my little patch ...madwippitthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02595748471651052552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8290574097841845967.post-65251953965483901512014-09-14T11:39:10.478+01:002014-09-14T11:39:10.478+01:00Nice to see a balanced post on this, Susan. But I've been depressed by both sides of the campaign and there are very few I feel inclined to trust to be telling it as it is. I have got to the stage of 'A Plague on both their houses!' I think people would do better to follow whatever their gut instinct was before this all began. But as you say, I'm not holding my breath... If the vote is no, Westminster will, most likely, feel they've got away with it, and fall back into complacency.Susan Pricehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07738737493756183909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8290574097841845967.post-38424698408405549132014-09-13T07:33:49.626+01:002014-09-13T07:33:49.626+01:00I completely understand why the Scots want to give...I completely understand why the Scots want to give Westminster politicians a kicking. They are arrogant and self-righteous, and their lack of understanding of Scottish disenchantment is telling.

On the other hand, it would be economically ridiculous for both countries.

So I hope we stay together. And I'd like to think Westminster takes the opportunity to reflect - but that's the pie-in-sky bit.JOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03127111575563904349noreply@blogger.com
